Happy Halloween
by Tifu on Oct.31, 2009, under The Legacy of the Worms, Work in Progress

I think it was Halloween 2007 that I was playing horror games at Jay Is Games and thought I should try one of those horror game doodahs. Didn’t actually start the game till a year later (was still working on PPZ3). Can’t really post much screenshots without spoiling things, the problem of a horror/exploration game I suppose… here’s a sketch from the level design of the area used in the demo anyway

Just want anyone visiting to know the game is making good progress, even if I can’t prove it
Powerpuff Z Videos

I should really have linked to some of these earlier, like… months ago. Anyway, here are some links to some youtube channels that have posted videos of Powerpuff Z 3 plays. If I have missed any, let me know!
Pretty awesome stuff. I feel almost famous…
Hello, world!

Well, things look all different here. So what is with the change?
As was obvious, the blog has been pretty weird ever since I tried to integrate it with the site. This is my own fault. So, now I have basically deleted the site’s pages (they’re still there, so that links anyone has should still work) and now the pages for the games are saved as blog entries… as they work like blog entries, you can now comment on the games. You can use that as a review feature if you like. And now the site will have a consistent look which was lacking when you commented on blog posts or such.
Some of the games’ pages look a little odd right now, because I’ve just copied the html code into the blog, but I’ll work on tidying things up as I go.
Huzzah!
Legacy of the Worms: beta and videos
by Tifu on Oct.25, 2009, under The Legacy of the Worms, Work in Progress

The Legacy of the Worms is an adventure game in the style of Flashback or Prince of Persia. This section of the game takes place about 30+ minutes into the game (rough estimate). We chose this area to build first because it conveniently shows off some of the game’s important features, and is a fairly linear area of the game – the rest of the game is more open to exploration. Controls are displayed on startup, you can customise to your preference from the options screen.
TIPS
* You have to open your inventory to equip weapons and turn on flashlights etc.
* Some enemies are smaller than others, you can’t hit them when standing
* Pick up items by pressing down when standing over them
