WHAAAAT???!!!?!!?!!1  We have a new posting member?  That's awesome!  It's always good to have new people to harangue!  Silly Seth.

Nice job with your unlocking guide.  Catalin, aka the guy who beat your challenge, aka my twin brother, used to be working on a detailed guide/FAQ thing, and he got pretty far on it, but I'm not sure he's working on it anymore.  Your strategy descriptions could use a little work, though.  They're a bit vague.

Oh, one more thing.  I saw him beat the time, if you're willing to believe his twin brother.  Good luck beating his challenge, though.  He did it so quickly because one of the guys took out both the others with a Death Ray.  Pretty sweet.

That's too bad.  The problem with our Wii is that it randomly decides to not initiate properly when it's turned on.  Then we need to reset it over and over and Over and OveR and OVER again until it decides to work.  I wonder if it still has a warranty...

I was listening to my iPod the other day, and it struck me once again how awesome Tripwire from PPZ2 is, especially for the sound quality that game had.  What software did you use to write the music, Parsec?  Also, do you still have the PPZ2 audio files anywhere so I can download them?  My recordings kind of suck at the moment, and I haven't been patient enough to re-record them.

yeah, I suppose you could. The font used is public domain or royalty free or whatever, so you wouldn't even need to get into pixel editing that much Cheesy

Yes, I realize this.  However, I was waiting for a time when I would be patient enough to actually do so before becoming distracted.

You do realize, of course, that I could rather easily have just edited this picture by looking for the right combination of pixels to make a 3 and/or 2, or just combined two different screenshots for the times taken and trial selected, so this picture could well be no more reliable than the other one. Bubbles  How's that?

Incidentally, I have my own challenge.  Trial 16:  Better Heroes?.  Beat 57 seconds. Tongue

The high score should show up on the 25 Trials select screen, you won't have to actually beat it again or anything, just hover the mouse over the appropriate trial and screeengrab.

I picked up Metroid: Other M for the Wii.

It's a dual layered disc.

Early versions of the Wii have trouble reading dual layered discs.

I can't play the game.

Fuck you Nintendo, fuck you.

*edit*
OK, I can get the Nintendo "repaired" (despite the fact it's not broken) possibly for free. But I obviously have to send it away to a land far, far away for Nintendo to do this.

Yes... but that could have been taken in a fight that isn't the 25 Trials challenge, see?

BEATING TIFU QUICKLY:  Play as Boomer.  Get him to the edges of the stage, huge explosion.  Repeat.
Unless you're overcharged on the first one, then it's instant kill anyway. Grin
