Sorry, I've been trying to think of something big to do for my 100th post, but I've drawn a complete blank on any ideas for it. Other than to advertise my website, but that doesn't count. Prepare to be amazed! When you go to PLOTYNSTYNE.weebly.com, you will find only the most amazing things there possibly can be in all creation! I haven't really done much of anything with it yet, and I'm really at a loss for what I would want to do. I can't even upload anything over 5 MB there without upgrading, and I don't have the money for that! The music packages are mostly PPZ II-III music. *edit*Hey, my rank increased again! Let the world tremble!*/edit*

Uhm...you ought to label that on your website. *edit* by which I mean, where the sound is from and who authored it, etc. *edit*
...and more importantly, ask Parsec for permission to post it.

Oh, right. I keep forgetting that there are all kinds of laws and things that could probably land me in prison for a good...oh, six years I think? I have a hard time remembering that kind of thing, especially when I'm dealing with something that was free to me. Any suggestions on what I should put on my web site would be welcome. No feedback is necessary, of course, but I'm glad you corrected me before I got in trouble. *edit* Oh no, I didn't do a Bubbles on this post! */edit*

Tifu, that avatar is really cool. *edit* Heh. The school's blocking program must not work very well in the morning. I was just able to level up Victimizer's adoptable, and I'm never able to do that from the school. */edit*

Or It could be that it was because of the power outage we had today. Maybe the blocker wasn't even up today?

Conclusion sounds plausible (i.e. perhaps the blocker was not "on" for whatever reason), but a power outage that takes out the system with the blocker would likely (not necessarily*) have taken out your internet access as well.
*Normally things like that are hooked up together in such a way that makes it unlikely for one to not have power while the other does, either due to software (blocker is in the router), System (router and blocker program reside in the same compuuter and have the same power source) or electrical outlet nearness (same section of that which has the blocker and the router allowing internet access, so if one goes, then the other must go too by necessity). However, none of these need be the case, but it would be unusual and differ from the way systems have been hooked up in the three american schools that I've been to, as well as other buildings not related to american schools. Which doesn't really mean anything, I'm just saying I haven't seen something like that before.

Embedding code testing finished. If you saw a bunch of stuff here before, I had to run some tests - content now removed.

Actually, the outage happened after I had already gotten off the computer, so that particular point is moot anyway. Nothing to say right now, so I'll leave.

I've started my own composition! You might be able to expect it on my weebly site before too long. I just wish I could do more real-music-ish. Most of what I come up with is video gamey. Which is not to say, of course, that video game music is not real music. I've heard absolutely wonderful pieces on games, the PPG games from here in particular (have you ever heard Ocarina of Time's Hyrule Field music? Maybe their Gerudo Valley? Those are my favorites). But other music is just...different somehow.

Survival Horror game music ranks as my favourite kind of music. Though I'm not sure it counts, I'm guessing you were thinking more along the lines of this:
or this:
Both of which are great pieces of music. An example of the kind of survival horror music I like is here:
As for other music being different...well, yes, but so is 'gamey music'. It is different and that is all. Random other piece of music:
( I actually wanted to post this: Irik Chuduk (6:11) but couldn't figure out how to embed it.)

Not all music and video sites are supported, just the ones the guy that made the plugin that allows embedding coded for. Zelda music is largely awesome. I love this remix:
My favourite song is also from Silent Hill, but it's not background music

Ocarina of Time music is thouroughly awesome, the awesomest being Gerudo Valley. I have yet to find a remix of that I like, because I like the original too much.

Yeah, you were right, Victimizer, I was thinking of that. My song is done now, in midi form, currently cleaning up the mp3, which you might be able to expect soon. I'm not too impressed with my first attempt. I also haven't been able to come up with a good title for it, so any suggestions you might have would be appreciated.

I feel special. I totally forgot to post this when it happened, I think (and can't find it back in time in the thread), and I thought it was funny. I forgot to take my flash drive out of my pants pocket before I washed them, and, as a result, my thumb drive went through the washer AND the dryer before I remembered about it. I was pretty worried about it, but it did absolutely nothing to my drive (except clean the yarn it was attached to).
